DID YOU KNOW?
relatively small number of journals produce the majority of scholarly
results. In fact, 50% of all citations worldwide are generated from only
300 journals. Hence, careful selection of content is important when
you’re looking for impactful research.
2014, 400,000 papers were published in predatory journals. The
carefully selected journal list in the Web of Science contains none of
these unethical journals.
2015, 43 journals were de-selected from Web of Science for not meeting
Thomson Reuters stringent standards. No other scientific database
rigorously monitors the standards of its titles as Thomson Reuters does.
